Landlords & Property Managers

In New Zealand, the underfloor insulation in rental properties must meet a certain standard.

Installing underfloor insulation for homes with an accessible sub-floor cavity is a requirement of the Insulation Standard – Healthy Homes Standards 2019.

We are one of the larger Warmer Kiwi Homes installers.

Our insulation installers are knowledgeable, experienced and extremely good at what they do.

Also, all our work is installed to the Energy Efficiency Conservation Authority (EECA) standard, which meets current New Zealand standards, as required for new builds and Healthy Rental applications.

Your One Stop Shop for Underfloor Insulation

There are two main options for underfloor insulation, and GreenSide Energy Solutions will help you choose the right option for your home:

Bulk insulation

Typically made from polyester, natural wool, rock wool, or expandable polystyrene material, this insulation traps heat inside the house during the winter and blocks heat from entering during the summer.

Reflective foil insulation

Using either single or doubled-sided fall laminates, bubble wrap, or foam foil-faced wrap, the reflective foil insulation can lower radiant heat gain.
